Informational website
The website provides general information about Summit and privacy-protection services. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, law-enforcement, or emergency advice. Information on the site may not apply to every situation.
No client relationship through the website
Submitting a form, sending an email, calling Summit, or receiving preliminary information does not create a client relationship. A client relationship begins only after Summit and the client sign the applicable written service agreement.
No guarantee from preliminary information
Exposure conditions, public-record rules, platform procedures, and removal timelines can change. Website descriptions are not a guarantee that a particular record can be removed, hidden, changed, or prevented from returning. The signed client agreement controls the scope, pricing, responsibilities, and limitations of any engagement.
Permitted use
You may use the website for lawful personal or business evaluation of Summit's services. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security controls, scrape or copy the site at scale, submit false requests, impersonate another person, introduce malicious code, or use information from the site to harm Summit, its clients, or others.
Intellectual property
The Summit name, branding, original text, design, graphics, and site code are owned by Summit or used with permission. You may not reproduce, modify, publish, sell, or create derivative works from them except as allowed by law or with prior written permission.
External sources
The Privacy Watch feed links to third-party publishers for convenience and awareness. Summit does not control those sites, does not guarantee their completeness or continued availability, and does not imply endorsement by or of the publisher.
Availability and security
Summit works to keep the site available and secure but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Do not use the public website to transmit secrets or urgent safety information. If you face an immediate threat or emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Summit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the public website. This limitation does not alter obligations in a separate signed client agreement.
Governing law
Utah law governs these website terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute concerning the public website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Utah, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
